About Me

Hey there!

My name is Hadassah, but in the online world, I go by MidnightJasmine or MidnightJasmineTheWolf.

I live in South Africa. It's a really beautiful country. Cape Town is where most international tourists tend to go. It's also the most expensive place to be, because of the tourist attraction.

I love being creative, mostly at the most random and useless times, but when I really NEED to be creative, my mind becomes blank—which always seems to happen when I have school projects.

My hobbies are horse riding, video gaming, and collecting random things I find. Some days I feel like collecting can tabs, other days I feel like collecting sticks! But I will never say no to feathers!

Horse riding

I have been doing horse riding for about 11 years and a few months. I don't actually know, because I lost count of the months.

If you were to ask me, I'd say horse riding isn't about just sitting in the saddle and the horse knows what it's doing. No, it's about "riding" the horse and letting the horse's thoughts flood into yours. Horse riding is about the bond between horse and rider.

Yes, the horse may know what it's doing, but the reins let you "connect" to the horse. And if you connect to the horse at just the perfect "frequency," you and the horse become one.

Video gaming

The only major video games I play are Grand Theft Auto 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2. I also play this website game called WolfPlay. I recommend you try it out wolf lovers!

My favourite out of the two video games is easy to choose: Red Dead Redemption 2! "Why?" you may ask? Well, first of all, it's WAY more realistic in my opinion, and I love how they added the idea that you need to bond with your horse, otherwise you're in trouble when it comes to hunting and shootouts.

In my experience with playing the game, if you want a horse with speed, agility, and that's scared of literally EVERYTHING, then the White Arabian is perfect for you! If you want a horse that doesn't really spook, but is EXTREMELY clumsy, then the draft horses are for you! In my opinion, the best horses to get are the Tiger-Striped Bay Mustang (because it rarely ever spooks, is rarely ever clumsy, and has good stats), or the Missouri Fox Trotter—but you have to progress far enough in the story mode to be able to access it.

• 2026/03/25 📜 Blog: Hey guys! So sorry I had to remove the website! I had to fix a few errors in the code, but now everything is perfectly fine. Hope you all are liking the website as much as I am! ❤
• 2026/03/25 📜 Blog: Oh my goodness! Who knew trying to pin‑point problems in code would be so stressful and hard? I know I didn’t. Well… I kind of did — but I definitely didn’t expect it to be THIS hard!
  Anyway, let’s get to why I’m writing… well… typing this. I’m here to talk about the new features! Hooray! 🥳 You no longer have to figure it out yourself!
  You might have noticed that for v1.1.0, the update says I added new things to Blogs/Updates and Projects — which is pretty obvious. But for v1.2.0, you’ll see it says New Features in “Gallery”, and here’s why:
  I’ve completely disabled right‑click on my images, and you can no longer drag and drop them either. You’ll also notice that the images appear slightly darker with a watermark over them — however, when you hover over each image, it “lights up,” making it easier to see the details.
  Please understand that this was my decision, and my decision alone. ❤
• 2026/03/25 📜 Blog: Alright, you’ve probably noticed that I’ve put pretty much every ounce of focus I have into this website, just to make sure it’s perfect! I’ve gone through so many versions today, I might as well have made a new version of me as well. 😂
  But yeah… that’s not happening for a while. At least, I think so. 🤔
  
  I’m also planning to add a new section to the site. Still brainstorming, but I’m slowly getting somewhere. I think. One thing I do need to fix, though, is the feature in the Gallery that’s supposed to prevent people from dragging and dropping my images. Somehow, you’re still able to do it. It worked earlier… just not anymore. 🫠
  But honestly? We can’t get everything perfect on the first try, right?
• 2026/03/26 📜 Blog: Yes, I finally took a break and finished the website updates the following day — which is today!
  In this update, I focused on the Music section, making it a whole lot neater and more pleasing to the eye. Everything feels cleaner, more organised, and overall easier to enjoy.
  
  And before I forget — mobile users, this one’s for you!
  If you’d like to see the hover animations that desktop users get, simply tap on an item once to activate the effect. Tap anywhere on the screen, and the animation will stop.

• 2026/03/27 📜 Blog: Regarding the Known Issue where some browsers may behave differently with audio files, I have tested the website on Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, and DuckDuckGo.
  The website is fully compatible on both mobile and desktop devices across these browsers.
  I am currently in the process of testing the website on additional browsers; however, this can only progress so fast, as I also balance development with my personal life.
  
  Regarding plans for a future website section, I am considering adding a comments / review / chat space where users can leave feedback, report bugs, or simply chat. This will be allowed under one condition: if any form of rudeness occurs, I may remove individual comment(s) or, if necessary, remove the entire section depending on severity.

• 2026/04/09 📜 Blog: Hello there fellow visitors of my website!
  Hope you are all enjoying everything I have on here so far!
  
  Regarding the Update Logs, for v1.3.0 I added a brand new section — a feature I had been planning for a while now.
  It is known as Chat.
  This is a chat that I added directly to the website, meaning it stays right here — no need to go to another website just to talk to others!
  
  For the next update in the Update Logs, also known as v1.3.1, the changes are pretty self‑explanatory.
  
  Enjoy chatting with people from around the world, sharing thoughts about my website, brainstorming ideas for future updates, and much more! ❤
